What other sports do you participate in?Dance
Will these be your first Provincial Games? No
What other Games have you competed in?I attended the last Provincial games in Guelph and was thrilled to be named to Team Ontario and to have competed at Nationals in Antigonish NS in the summer of 2018, where I placed second overall in Level 2 Rythmic Gymnastics.
Best Special Olympics Memory:To have met, trained with, and become friends with young women from all over the province who also do rhythmic gymnastics. To have traveled all the way to Nova Scotia with Team Ontario and to have medaled in each event in my very first time at Nationals.
Hobbies and Activities:I take dance lessons twice per week at Strictly Dance in Georgetown and I perform in dance shows at retirement homes and seniors centres in both Canada and the USA. I was thrilled to compete last year in the Burlington’s Got Talent Show and have been selected this year to compete again. I was honoured recently to have been invited to perform at the Oakville Children’s Festival. I am proud to say that I choreograph all my own dances. This spring I graduated with honours from the CICE Program at Conestoga College in Kitchener.
Message to Sponsors:A big thank you to all the sponsors of the Provincial Games…without you we wouldn’t be here.
