Best Special Olympics MemoryI always like a challenge and the SOO has given me the opportunity to challenge myself.  I am a team player.  My most memorable Olympics were in Kingston, ON where my family and some friends were able to be there to support me.  I do my best and I am strong in my attempts.
Hobbies and ActivitiesI work at Tim Horton’s Monday to Friday from 2pm – 5pm and that is something that I take very seriously.  It is important to me as it allows me to be a contributing member of society.
I also attend a social group called Friday Friends and have been there for about 20 years.  I have many friends there.
I have a girlfriend who is also participating in the Olympics for swimming.  We have been together for upwards of 10 years.
I have a 4-year-old nephew and a 6-month-old niece who are also important to me.  I am hoping to teach them that sticking with something and doing the best you can is rewarding.
Message to SponsorsThank you to everyone who sponsors and or support the SOO.  Thank you for helping me to be the man that I am today. I am grateful to all of you and to the many volunteers who also give of themselves.  Without all of you, we wouldn’t be here today.
