Message to Sponsors:THANK YOU SPONSORS, THANK YOU SUPPORTERS OF SPECIAL OLYMPICS, AND THANK YOU TORCH RUN PARTICIPANTS AND ALL THE COACHES INVOLVED !!!!
Sam’s life has been enriched by being in Special Olympics, through making new friends, being part of teams and learning the meaning of teamwork, travel for games out of the city, getting additional exercise and that sport is not just about winning or losing. It is all the things she gets out of it… in the middle. Without the support of volunteer coaches, sponsors and supporters and the Torch Run she would not have had all these opportunities of travel , health checks, mentoring by coaches and made friends over the province. So from the bottom of our hearts we say, THANK YOU TO ALL AND EVERY ONE THAT GETS INVOLVED IN SPECIAL OLYMPICS, you really have no idea what an impact you are making on the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities. As Sam says “YOU ARE THE BEST!”
