Best Special Olympics Memory: | My best experience was representing my club, family and my town of Essex Ontario, at the World Games in LA USA in 2015. I learned a little French from my Coach and made a lot of friends from around the World.
My Club LW Special Olympic team is so awesome and they support not just me but the whole club in all sports.
I love Baseball and Basketball too and have played all over Ontario and United States for fun. |
Hobbies and Activities: | I am a Essex Legion member where I march as a member of the Colour Guard. I have carried the Legion and Canadian flag proudly for all the Veterans. I also play Darts with the Club members.
I support my community by cheering for the hockey team and different baseball teams.
I like to walk and participate in the 5 km Terry Fox run, Moon in June run, Jingle Bell run and other runs to help people with disabilities and who are sick.
I practice basketball a lot. I bowl with my family on New Years and other times for practice, or to beat my Dad haha. |
Message to Sponsors: | My name is Jordon and would like to say thank you for all your support. I really like Special Olympics. I get to meet a lot of different athletes and coaches who help each other out when you fall down. One time when I was little I fell and scratched my side of my hip and leg seriously, at a Provincial Games. Two Athletes stopped and said, “ you can finish,” I crawled across the line crying in pain but I finished, thanks to them, the crowd and coaches. Special Olympics has helped me to grow and build confidence as an Athlete and to speak up for people and kids like me. |
