Best Special Olympics Memory | It was very exciting participating in all of the Games – my North Bay experience was great – it was my first time away with Special Olympics and I was proud of my efforts and happy to win the medals – also proud of myself for staying in the Athletes’ Village with my coaches and friends. It was also a lot of fun flying to Newfoundland and being part of the National Games – met a lot of new friends and had our picture taken with Catriona Le May Doan, the Canadian Olympic speed skater. All great experiences – lots of good memories! All of my coaches were great – thank you for encouraging me to do my best! |
