What other Games have you competed in? | Swimming at the 1998 provincial games in Oakville where I won gold in the 25 meter backstroke.
I won bronze in the 25 meter butterfly, bronze in the 100 meter individuality medley, and bronze in the 100 meter individual medley relay. We went to Sault Sainte Marie where I won gold in the 50 meter dash and gold in the running long jump. Then I went to my very first Nationals in 2001. In Saskatchewan I won gold in the 50 meter dash, I won bronze in the running long jump, and I also won bronze in the shot putt. I also went to the winter Provincial Games in Thunder Bay where my undefeated team won gold in Curling. We went to our first Nationals as a team in 2007 and we won silver medal in Curling. |
Best Special Olympics Memory: | My most memorable moment was when I was chosen to carry in our region 11 sign at the provincial games in Windsor. And when I was chosen as a adopted athlete at the winter Provincial games in Thunder Bay. |
Hobbies and Activities: | I love to knit, workout on the treadmill, bake and make homemade cards for special occasions. |
